Plans and Pricing
Start free with 1 AI score without signing up and 10 more after you verify your email. For more feedback, choose a one-time 7-day Sprint (US$10.99, 300 AI scores) or 30-day Pass (US$21.99, 750). Nothing renews, and you get a full refund within 7 days if you've used 20 scores or fewer.

Free, in numbers
What can I do for free?
Everything except AI scoring is free, as often as you like: timed practice for all eight speaking tasks and both writing tasks, every prompt and sample answer, and every calculator. AI scoring is free for 1 answer without signing up, then 10 more after you verify your email, valid for 30 days.
No credit card is needed for anything free. The 10 sign-up scores are enough to try every speaking task once and both writing tasks once.

Is a one-week plan worth it for me?
A 7-day Sprint is worth it when your exam is 9 days away or less and you can practise most of those days. It gives 300 AI scores, enough to redo your weakest tasks with new questions every day. If your exam is further away, start free or choose the 30-day Pass.
Answer these five questions honestly:
- Is your exam 9 days away or less?
- Can you practise for at least 30 minutes on most of those days?
- Have you used your free AI scores and found one task or criterion that keeps coming out lowest?
- Will you answer new questions, not just repeat the same one?
- Would one more level in speaking or writing change your CRS or your program eligibility? Check with the CLB to CRS calculator.
Three or more “yes” answers: a 7-day Sprint is likely worth it. Fewer than three: keep practising with your free scores, or choose the 30-day Pass if your exam is 10–35 days away.
A plan buys practice feedback, not a result. No plan — ours or anyone else’s — can guarantee a CELPIP level.
Does anything renew, and how do refunds work?
- One-time payments. Nothing renews, and no card is kept on file for later charges.
- 7-day refund. Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you've used 20 AI scores or fewer (Top-up 60: 10 or fewer). Once per customer in any 12 months.
- Failed scores are free. If an evaluation fails, times out or is refused, the score is returned to you automatically.
- Outages. If AI scoring is down for more than 24 hours in a row, we extend your pass by the length of the outage plus one day.
- Exam rescheduled? Ask before your pass ends and we will extend it once, by up to 14 days.
- After 7 days, unused scores are not refunded in cash; they expire with the pass.
- We never refund or charge based on your official CELPIP result, and we never promise a score.
To ask for a refund or an extension, email hello@canadianenglishtest.org from the address on your account. We reply within 2 business days. The full terms are in our terms of service.
Are there daily limits?
Yes — small ones, so that free scores stay available and nobody can run up costs with a script. We never call a plan “unlimited”.
| Who | AI scores | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| No sign-up | 1 in total | Speaking only, one per browser |
| Free account | Up to 10 a day | After email verification; the 10 free scores last 30 days |
| Any paid plan | Up to 60 a day | Resets at midnight, Toronto time |
| Everyone | 6 per 10 minutes | One answer is scored at a time |
60 speaking answers is roughly two hours of non-stop practice, so the limit is rarely reached.
What counts as one AI score?

| Rescoring a revised essay | 1 |
| The 8-task speaking set | 8 |
| An evaluation that fails, times out or is refused | 0 |
| Timed practice, prompts and sample answers without AI feedback | 0 |
