About CanadianEnglishTest
CanadianEnglishTest is an independent site for CELPIP-General practice and Express Entry score tools, not affiliated with Paragon, Prometric or IRCC. We build original practice tasks, AI feedback that shows its evidence, and CRS and CLB calculators checked against canada.ca. Practice and calculators are free; AI scoring beyond the free allowance is paid.

What does CanadianEnglishTest do?
- Timed practice for all eight CELPIP speaking tasks and both writing tasks, with the official preparation and response times and original prompts.
- AI feedback that gives a level range, the exact words it is based on and a rewrite — never a single “official-looking” score. How it works.
- Calculators for CRS (current rules and the rules from November 3, 2026), CLB and the CELPIP score chart, built from IRCC’s published tables.
- Sources and dates under every table, so you can check our numbers yourself.
Who runs it?
To be completed by the site owner (TODO)
Editor: name, photo, a two-line bio, LinkedIn profile and role (for example “maintains the CRS engine and checks rules against IRCC pages”). Until these are added, no person is named on this site — we do not use invented names, stock photos or made-up team members.
Pages are checked against the official sources listed on each page. Teacher review of practice material and licensed-consultant (RCIC) review of the Express Entry pages have not happened yet, and every affected page says so. When a review happens, the reviewer is named on the page with the date and scope. See our editorial policy.
How is the site funded?
By optional, one-time AI practice plans. Everything else stays free.
- No display ads.
- We do not sell leads to, or take referral fees from, immigration consultants or lawyers.
- We do not sell or share your personal data.
- If we ever earn a commission on something we link to, that page will say so clearly.
What happens to my recordings?
Your recording is processed to score it and then discarded — we do not store audio. The transcript, your essay and the report are kept only for you, and you can delete any report at any time. Details are in our privacy policy.
Is this the official CELPIP website?
No. CELPIP® is a registered trademark of its owner and is used here only to name the test our practice is designed for. To book the test or see official results, use the official CELPIP website. Read our full disclaimer.
